Lock in your solar & battery rebate before the rules change
From 1 July 2026 the Solar Homes income cap drops from $210,000 to $150,000. Applications must be fully submitted by 5pm, 30 June 2026 to be assessed under the current rules — and the federal battery rebate is shrinking every six months. We're a CEC-accredited Melbourne installer and we handle the paperwork for you.
What's changing — and why now
Income cap drops
From 1 July 2026 the Solar Homes income cap falls from $210k to $150k. Households between those figures lose eligibility under the new rules.
Deadline: 30 June
Applications must be fully submitted by 5pm, 30 June 2026 to be assessed under the current cap. After that, the new threshold applies.
Battery rebate shrinking
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate now declines every 6 months and is reduced for larger batteries — so it pays to lock in sooner.
Will you still qualify after 1 July?

"Farid, from Pro Electric Group installed our Battery system. Farid and his team were extremely professional in their approach, worked hard to complete the installation on time. I have had to call/text Farid a few times after installation and Farid had been very responsive to my messages. Thank you Farid!"
"The lads from Pro Electric came by to help us with our solar battery installation. They are hard working efficient team of electricians. We will definitely have them back for other electrical needs in the future. Highly recommend."
